one week ago, i held a photo shoot session

before that i run some test ^^

turns out the result from the photo test was good,

so here some of the pics

i was wearing brown shirt from Topshop and sheer blue skirt from Untitled,

sandals from Steve Madden, belt from Zara and the necklace from Eeche

feels like i wanna jump into the water

swimming is one of my fave sport

i got the idea for the title of this posting from my bf, he said "down to earth"

maybe becoz the color and the mood.

i rarely go to shop at retail store now. Vintage clothing has better cut and fabric! it's cheap too. ^^

i bought this dress in Bali few months ago, i always want to have an elegant red dress. So when i saw this dress and tried it on, i knew that one day this dress gonna be perfect in some occasion like this wedding reception for example. The reception was held in Mulia Hotel on last Friday. I hired make-up and hair stylist.

Soft make up because the color of the dress will pull lot of attention.

I really like the result ^^ thx to Rama ^^ and her assistant.

Surely i will hire them again for the next event.

i Google-ed these pic just before i had my make-up

I always do that, i can't relax until i know what i'm going to do and sure that people will be able to do it just like i asked to them.

i went out for dinner with my family.
actually i wanted to go out with some friends so i wear these.
so lazy to change the clothes LOL
but i was wearing flats not those heels
yeah, this is lame city. people would stare weird at me.

i'm so in love with the cut-out shorts.
almost everyday i wore it LOL
so comfortable to wear especially in this hot city.
yeah, we only have two seasons. Hot and wet.
even in wet season, it always hot at the morning till afternoon.

Even-though they're very high but i can walk easily with them and the heels are thin and sexy.

I was invited to this Sunsilk Event. Hosted by Thhmas Taw (world class Damage Hair expert)

It was held inside a dome with beautiful lighting.

There are music performance by few bands and singers from Indonesia also fashion show by Arantxa Adi.

While working at the beginning of his career at one of the top salons in Beverly Hills, his clientele consisted mainly of film and television celebrities. However, Jamal found that he was yearning to push himself creatively. As a result, he began doing test shoots with photographers, assembling a body of image-based work that positioned him to move into the world of editorial, fashion, film, and runway work around the world. Jamal credits his training in Paris from the highly-respected hair guru, Odila Gilbert, as one of his most valuable professional experiences.

Around the sometime, Jamal met Louis Licari, widely considered one of the most accomplished hair colorists in the world. Their meeting was a timely blessing, and Licari introduced Hammadi to Linda Evangelista. The two of them clicked immediately and shortly thereafter, Evangelista flow Jamal to London to work with her on the cover of British Vogue. They’ve worked together ever since.

·      Start with a great cut- take care of the ends of your hair for healthy shine
·      A clean scalp ensures healthy hair
·      Be gentle when drying your hair after cleaning, the more you rough it up the more cuticles you will damage
·      Vitamin E is vital for luscious locks. It’s found in foods such as avocados, berries and nuts
·      Rinse your hair with cold water after washing to seal the cuticles and lock in moisture and shine
·      Use a good bristle brush rather than a comb to prevent breakage
·      Make sure you pump your iron intake. Iron will give hair a fantastic shine. I always advise my clients to eat lots of good proteins and vegetables

For me.. it's important. i wasted a lot of money to buy fashion item that look good but not comfortable to wear :( In the end i felt unhappy when i was wearing them.

For example ---> Shoes! Many shoes end-up hurt my feet! I feel sorry for my feet right now.. so many scars because the shoes or sandals bad fabric scratched my skin. So be careful to choose the right shoes and make sure they will make your feet pretty not give the pain. Don't be fooled by the shoes appearance or force to buy them even-though the size isn't fit for you.

Batik is a cloth which traditionally uses a manual wax-resist dyeing technique

Batik is both an art and a craft, which is becoming more popular and well known in the west as a wonderfully creative medium.

The art of decorating cloth in this way, using wax and dye, has been practised for centuries.

In Java, Indonesia, batik is part of an ancient tradition, and some of the finest batik cloth in the world is still made there.

The word batik originates from the Javanese tik and means to dot.

To make a batik, selected areas of the cloth are blocked out by brushing or drawing hot wax over them,

and the cloth is then dyed.

The parts covered in wax resist the dye and remain the original colour.

This process of waxing and dyeing can be repeated to create more elaborate and colourful designs.

After the final dyeing the wax is removed and the cloth is ready for wearing or showing.

Balinese Batik

Balinese batik was influenced by neighbouring Javanese Batik and is relatively recent compared to the latter island, having been stimulated by thetourism industry and consequent rising demand for souvenirs (since the early 20th century).

In addition to the traditional wax-resist dye technique and industrial techniques such as the stamp (cap) and painting, Balinese batik sometimes utilizes ikat (tie dye).

Balinese batik is characterized by bright and vibrant colors, which the tie dye technique blends into a smooth gradation of color with many shades.

That picture was taken by my bf after we watched movie at Pasific Place ( mall in my city)

The main reason i went to that mall is the BrightSpot Market.

It’s like a bazaar. It held once a year. this year was at that mall.

There are many local brands or designer that open stands and sell clothes, accessories, shoes, bags, and many more.

I love local brand or store.

Sometimes they sell their own design so we don’t have to worry caught in the same outfit with others coz it’s limited.

The other stores i love are Zara, Forever 21 and Topshop but mostly i shop at Sg because the price is cheaper than my country.

That blazer i got from the other bazaar at other mall and that was hold one week before the brightspot market.

I Love Blazer and Jacket sooo much. This one has unique shoulder. You can see from the third pic :)

TGIF? Really?

Everyone always happy about Friday but sometimes i just hate Friday.

Here in my city, Friday mean totally traffic chaos. Weekdays alway traffic jam everywhere and Friday is the worst.

Can u imagine that after look rough weekdays and we expect that we can meet and chill out on Friday nite but all we get is more stress coz the traffic. God bless this city! T__T
